An Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Heads to ’6 Miranda Drive’

It’s been some time since we last heard about Greg Mclean’s next directorial project.  The “Wolf Creek” director is moving away from the world of Australian killers and taking his act to America with a new supernatural feature.

Back in February we learned that Kevin Bacon would star in the upcoming film, which is being called “6 Miranda Drive.”  Today we’re learning from Deadline that a new actress has joined the cast.  Ming-Na Wen (“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”) has signed on to star in the film which will be a micro-budget Blumhouse special released under the Universal umbrella.

The story, which was written by Mclean, follows a family that returns home after taking a trip to the Grand Canyon.  Along with bringing back a bunch of great memories and souvenirs, the family unknowingly returns with a malevolent spirit. Also joining the cast will be Radha Mitchell, who previously starred in Mclean’s “Rogue.”  No word on when the film will start shooting.
