I Am Legend Sequel Updates

An I Am Legend prequel was in talks a few years back which would have Will Smith on board. A prequel was pretty much the only route they could take if they wanted Smith’s character to return, due to the events of I Am Legend.

Anyway, director Francis Lawrence recently spoke with MTV, when asked about the proposed prequel, Lawrence replied “I don’t think it’s ever going to happen.”

In all fairness did we really want a prequel? Now perhaps a sequel to the alternate ending of the film maybe the better road to go down but I guess we shall see.
