The Legend of the Psychotic Forest Ranger Finally Hits DVD

It has been years since we first caught our eye on Brad Mills’ throwback slasher flick The Legend of the Psychotic Forest Ranger. And I can tell you, I was hooked from the very first moment, but sadly the Ranger has been laying dormant for several years, and we was all wondering just when the Ranger would see the light of day?

Well my friends, that day has finally arrived. The fine folks over at Black Fawn Distribution have announced that they will finally unleash The Legend of the Psychotic Forest Ranger onto DVD this May 14th in Canada. Unfortunately we have no word on a U.S. release just yet, but I’m sure there is a deal in the works.

But, that’s not all. If you pre-order your copy today, not only will you receive the awesome film, but you will also be the proud owner of the brilliant poster art, designed by none other than Tom Hodge of The Dude Designs. And, yes, there is more. You will also get the Devil’s Night DVD and poster and also If A Tree Falls DVD and poster, all for the insanely awesome price of just $24.99!

As you can tell, I am all over this one, and finally we will all be able to see Brad Mills’ flick, which I believe will become an instant cult classic upon release. So, to give you guys a taste, go check out the trailer below.

SynopsisFull of plot holes & cheesy dialogue, The Legend of the Psychotic Forest Ranger is a B horror movie straight out of the 80s. After taking a wrong turn down an abandoned road, the Jock, the Joker, the Blond Bimbo & the Paranoid Brunette run out of gas and find themselves stranded in the middle of the woods. What a total drag. What was that noise? Why is everyone vanishing? Is it all one of Bradley’s dumb practical jokes, or could The Legend be true? Your compass can’t help you in these woods.

The film is written & directed by Brad Mills and stars Aaron Corbett, Bhreagh Lafitte, Brad Mills, Colleen MacIsaac, Elizabeth Mills, Gabriel A House, Jeannine MacLean, Joshua Demeyere, Keith Morrison, Michael G MacDonald, Ron Newcombe, Samuel MacDonald LeMoine, and Stefanie Peters.
