Dee Wallace Joins the Cast of the Supernatural Thriller ‘Ayla’

We have been following Elias’ mysterious supernatural flick Ayla, ever since we heard that it was on the horizon. The film already has a slew of talent involved with the likes of Bill Oberst, jr., Tristan Risk, Jennifer Lynn Warren, Andrew Sensenig, and Nicolas Wilder to name but a few, and just when you think it couldn’t get any better, along comes the announcement that horror veteran Dee Wallace has signed on to star in the film!

Dee Wallace (“E.T.”, “The Howling”) has joined the cast of “Ayla”. The supernatural thriller begins production in Washington state this month, helmed by Elias (“Gut”) from his original script.

“Ayla” centers on Elton, a man haunted by the mysterious death of his 4-year-old sister, who brings her back to life thirty years later as an adult woman with dire consequences.

Tristan Risk (“American Mary”), Nicholas Wilder (“Gut”), Sarah Schoofs (“Phobia”), D’Angelo Midili (“The Invoking”), Bill Oberst Jr. (“Resolution”) and Andrew Sensenig (“We Are Still Here”) also star.

Matt Medisch, John Portanova & Jeremy Berg (“Valley of the Sasquatch”) and Sean Patrick Burke (“As You Are”) are producing.
