Will Poulter to Play Pennywise in ‘It’ Remake

Will PoulterHere we go, guys. Pennywise has been cast in the latest adaptation of Stephen King’s It, and it’s definitely a surprising choice. According to Variety, Will Poulter (pictured right; Maze Runner, We’re the Millers) has been cast to play the evil monster disguised as a clown known as Pennywise, the role which Tim Curry made his own in the 1991 TV miniseries.

Instead of a TV miniseries this time around, It is being adapted into a feature film which will span into two feature films and Cary Fukunaga (True Detective) is directing the feature.

Sources told the site that, Fukunaga could not say no after being blown away by Poulter’s audition for the part and felt he was the right choice for the role. And I say lets give him a shot, he certainly has that sinister look about him and everyone deserves a chance to prove their worth and this could be the catalyst for that, either way I’m stoked for more It, and with Fukunga on directing duties I’d say we’re in more than capable hands.

So, what do you guys make of this casting decision?
